Funnily enough I was technically the editor of Hecklers - although the credit both for the idea and the programme goes rightly to Innes, the producer. But I think this story does illustrate the loss of diversity of viewpoints within the BBC as News has become more centralised.
What a fantastic podcast. Julie, you are amazing. I love the way that you explain things so clearly and calmly. I have been so disappointed with the BBC’s approach to women’s rights, puberty blockers, trans etc etc but, like you, I do want it to continue. I just hope that someone will get a grip along the lines that you suggest.
